I understand your concerns you are describing in your query. It looks like you had a diarrhea caused by an infectious pathogen, which also has passed through your urinary tract and has given you UTI
In the most of the cases this pathogen is E.Coli, a bacteria which is randomly found in intestine and the common bacteria responsible for Urinary tract infections.
I would recommend you to repeat the urine analysis and do a culture too, for a better evaluation of the pathogen and sensitivity of antibiotics that should be used. The treatment should be done according to the culture results.
Meanwhile you may use ciprofloxacin or trimethoprim orally until the results come out. Take a lot of water and juices in your diet.
I hope you will be fine soon! Best regards! DR ERIOL.
